Chelsea have signed 5 CB's since TB consortium took over in the summer. Colwill is a long way down the pecking order and must know he will get plenty of game time with us. If he is convinced on us and his agent is any good then their negotiations are simple. Sell to Brighton now or see him leave in Summer 24 for free without playing any games for Chelsea

I genuinely don’t know, but is he definitely lower down the ranks than some of the kids potter has been playing in defence recently ?

In a pile of football shirts
I’m sure the last thing chelsea care about is a player leaving on a free.

Fantastic talent. Looked incredibly happy yesterday…….immensely engaged for a loanee. He has to be looking at the West London shitshow and thinking long and hard about where his best interests lie.

My optimistic feeling too. He's really fitting in it seems. Hopefully he loves it here. Players have a lot of say in all this.

I am not raising my hopes. That Gallagher lad looked very happy at Palace playing every week but didn't stop him going back. Mind you with their training facilities I can't blame him.

Yes need to be realistic. Probably only a 20% chance he will join. He will be in the Chelsea first team next season and probably playing for England

You forget “yeah but his girlfriends dads a die hard seagull and he’s been looking at houses in Hassocks”
Which was funny as they split up as soon as Ben left Leeds

I can't believe he'll be here next year. The bigger concern for me is holding onto moises and alexia.

BUT: this is the best albion team ever, yesterday the most complete team performance ever. Trying so hard just to enjoy what we've got right now and let the club work out the future.

By the way. So Happy for Tony Bloom. Days like yesterday must make all the hard work seem worthwhile. I'm sure he's loving it, but he deserves every iota of joy he's getting!

A long way from Hereford

Excellent young player who can only get better and a perfect fit for our style of football. It would be fantastic to sign him, but Chelsea surely can't keep on stupidly selling their best young talent? Can they? Stupid is as stupid does.

Sorry only 4, they signed Koulibaly, Cucurella, Fofana & now Badiashile. All will be ahead of Colwill, he and his agent must be aware that a move is sensible for his career

I’m sure Boehly will have his eyes on a few Albion players either now or at EoS so there could easily be a deal to be done.

Maybe they’ll sell to us as long as we do them a favour and take Cucurella back as well.
