Falmer is going to happen anyway

If that is your belief why were you so obsessed with other locations.

I said "if the costs stack up".

That is on the agenda. Falmer VWN has got to prove itself on the same criteria as other sites?

This a matter of interpretation. DK (honestly) has "chosen" to believe that Falmer will be be the preferred choice because the other sites do NOT fill the criteria laid out.

If you are pessimistic, there is always the possibilty that Prescott will reject Falmer without endorsing an alternative. They did with Portosmello, so they could do it again.

I am not pessimistic about anything - I believe therefore it will happen.

Shame on those that don't.

I have no intention in getting involved in Brighton planning matters.
Huh!

And you plainly have no intention of EVER trying to understand why we've been telling you for years to shut up.

Every time there is an NSC thread on Falmer planning matters, you turn up with a bucket of stinking red herrings and tip them all over the place.

Over the past two years, the Club has needed thousands of supporters to "get involved". But you have consistently refused the invitation. Why?

You really do have your head up your arse, don't you Percy? You haven't got a f***ing CLUE. You are just a sad old man dribbling into your lap in the corner...

It's fairly straightforward, and has been said DOZENS of times. So pay attention, nob-end.

The other sites have to prove themselves against VWN - not the other way round. Prescott already has endorsed Falmer. It's for the club to prove the other sites are no good. The NIMBYs are going to try and state otherwise. If no other sites are good enough, Falmer goes ahead.

Prescott has already said that. Got it? Are we clear? No other good sites, it's STADIUM YES.

Now f*** off.

NO IT DOESN'T.

Falmer HAS proved itself to be affordable and to have a viable Business Case to back it. The other sites ave to be tested against that base line.

If Prescott didn't believe the Business Case for Falmer, he would have rejected the application already.

It's his obsession with the airport. Personally, I wish they'd hurry up with the project so that they can stick the runway straight through the middle of his f***ing house.

You could be right ?

But why did he NOT accept the case for Falmer already?

I think the ODPM were just leaving all options open?

Lord Bracknell is right -not 'might be right' - is right, peabrain. And Prescott HAS accepted the case for Falmer already.

He hasn't given an outright YES yet because (give me f***ing strength - how many more times?), in a planning case involving an AONB, it has to be proved that nowhere else is suitable and available. This is what the next Public Inquiry is all about.

This has been discussed and debated to death on here for the past four and a half months. Where has your head been? Stuck up your arse?

As far as I can see from the Brighton & Hove local plan, the orange boundaries seem to comply with the limits of the jurisdiction of Brighton & Hove Council. Probably the same as the relevant AONB boundaries?

Sorry this is wrong, according to Lord Bracknell, the whole of Village Way is AONB.

The South Downs Conservation Board are meeting next Monday. According to the Shoreham Herald, they have rejected the following as alternative sites already: Toad's Hole Valley, Waterhall, Brighton Station, Greyhound Stadium.

They are promoting the alternatives of Shoreham Harbour, Sheepcote and Withdean.

Other sites are neutral.
