Future Developments

The Club have been given permission to expand the capacity of Withdean Stadium to just under 9,000. The works which are due to be completed in January 2006, will chiefly see the erection of a another temporary stand at the currently unused West End of the stadium. This stand with a capacity of 900 will be given to away fans. Another 1,000 seats for home supporters are to be added to the East End of the stadium.


The capacity prior to the new West Stand was 7,053 therefore I guess it must be 7,953 now.

It was a good atmosphere in the old away end on Sunday. Might have been cos it was Palace though, though there were a few of us trying to get some singing going.

I'd prob buy there again though it is a bit steep at £23.50 when you can normally pick one up in the south stand for same price

I must admit I sit in H block and was supprised that I could hear people in the old away end. Did yourself proud.

3 of us going who have not been to home match at withdean for at least 2 years.
Please tell me the atmosphere has changed.

I like to think i am a bit of a singer, i said singer!!

I feel now we have Falmer it's even more important to fill withdean so i will be forfeiting away games for withdean.
