The old record held by Southampton has been smashed.

Brighton now hold a PL record which they will no doubt hold for years to come, just the 1 PL home win in a calendar year.

No doubt thousands of Albion fans will be celebrating on the streets of Brighton and Hove when the record breakers undertake an open top bus tour of the city.

The champagne is chilling in the fridge I will shortly be raising a glass or two, to Potter and the record breakers.

And to think, we didn't lose 0-5 at home to Leeds

100% record in 2021.

That's how it works, right?

It’s so bad, it’s actually brilliant. Well done GP and the lads.

We’re going places.

Luton, Barnsley etc.

(at least we might win - hark! I hear the Potter appreciation society proclaim, important caveat that.)

Enough of this knee-jerk sarcasm. It's only one year.:)

I blame Covid-19. Not sure of the link, but let's blame it anyway.

Hiring GraPott was only the start of it,
Swansman came along and now he's a part of it,
Now he's done it,
Potter's f***ed it for you,
And you and you.

Calendar year record are a bit bollocks, aren't they? Football doesn't operate in calendar years.

So, let's have some optimism that we can kick on from here and break the record for a season.

Let's give these stellar sides a run for their money:

Sunderland 2005/06 - one win, four draws and 14 defeats.
Derby 2007/08 - one win, five draws and 13 defeats
Huddersfield 2018/19 - two wins, three draws and 14 defeats.
Sunderland 2002/03 - three wins, two draws and 14 defeats.

The calendar year thing sounds bad. But it's a selective stat.

We've drawn loads of those and done pretty well away.

We're not in the relegation zone and we haven't been, so we're not all that bad

We’ve only got two chances to win at home, Fulham and Newcastle. Might get one, definitely not two.

You're right of course. The draws against the mighty West Brom and 10-man Sheffield United, who sit 19th and 20th in the table, respectively, are worthy of acknowledgement.
