Had chicken feet in the China Garden thinking there must be something to them, for them to be on the menu...There isn't, they looked disgusting and tasted even worse

Chicken feet are wonderful things. They also give a great flavour and viscosity to a soup.

Possibly not new to many, but deciding what herbs to grow last year I came across a previously unheard of (to me) chocolate mint plant.

Loved it. Very minty but a definite undercurrent taste of chocolate. Definitely growing it again this year.

Silken Tofu mrs Blue3 in an attempt at a healthy meal used Silken Tofu, only heaven koans what it added to any meal which in this case was spinach garlic lemon juice and frozen peas cooked in a spoonful of water with Tofu then added to pasta the result was bright green pasta with zero flavour.
Mrs Blue3 was awarded 10 for effort and zero for all other categories needless to say we said that was the first and last time we make that
