Impossible to predict. I have no idea whether you are a betting man, but I assume you have stuck your mortgage on that outcome?

The gap between Murray and the top 3 is too big. Murray will always have to play 2 straight games (unless an upset has happened, which is rare) against players better than him, so much better that in order to beat them he has to hope he plays his absolute best match and they are off their game. I think Murray has peaked and will never be better than he is now which means he will not win a major.

The final, Nadal vs Djokovic should be a cracker.

He is not a bottler but he has just came about the game at the wrong time, he is world class, but there are 3 players that are better.

The gap between Murray and the top 3 is too big.

Not true at all. The only probalem he has is that is takes too much out of him getting through the other rounds, whilst the others seems to get through much more easily, expending less mental and physical energy. If all 4 were at the same level of fitness at the same stage - I'm not saying Murrays not fit enough, no-one one the circuit is fitter than him - I would back Murray at least 50 perr cent of the time. I never thought he would win last night, but it was a high quality match, both the semis were, as they should be.

If you find the earliy thread about the open from before the tournament, you'll see I predicted the top 4 making the semis.
