Let's give the job to Booker

If and when a new manager joins I would like to see Booker remain at the club as I do think he is a good influence on the players. That said I wouldn’t want him as manager as I don’t think he has the experience to do the job.

He would deserve the chance. .

I couldn't give a toss who "deserves" a chance.

Top priority, we need a name, preferably with experience, who has plenty of contacts within the game.

And who will f*** off before October 2004 as well, obviously (pre requisite for a "name " manager)

Haven't we learnt our lessons?

On no account must an insider, Booker or Wilkins be given the job.

No need to rush for a successor if Coppell goes.

I appreciate what you're saying, but we can hardly avoid appointing a good manager for fear of him being too good for us, attracting the attention of other clubs and "f***ing off" within a year. By that logic, we'll end up making some shite internal appointment like last time, and plummetting down the league. "OK, the teams shit now, but at least nobody else wants our manager".

Great.

The one fact in all of this, is that we are basically f***ed until we get that stadium. Its a bloody miracle the success we've had over the last few seasons considering the constant instability at the club. We will never be able to move forward while we are at an athletics track thats for sure. We'll just be constantly firefighting till that gets sorted.
