I haven't seen the BNP pledges, but I'm bloody sure I would agree with a number of them. Does that make you or me racist? First we would need to agree a definition of what constitutes racism.
If I dislike the fact that my country is overrun by foreigners, is that racism? Maybe.
If I object strongly to taxpayers money being spent to translate documents into numerous foreign tongues so that immigrants can find out how to claim benefits, is that racism?
If I believe that these people should learn the English language if they want to come and live here, is that racism?
If the government is going to require immigrants to have a working knowledge of the English language before they can become citizens, is that racism?
Is stating a fact such as proportionately more crime is committed in London by black people racism? Don't see how it can be if it's a fact.
