oh yes!!! On days like that you believe anything can happen in football. Just turned 17 and drove my mum's Austin Allegro there and back...got stuff chucked at it by 'pool fans but was worth the aggro when I got home

I was there :clap2: I'd forgotten the United/Chelsea style attempts at ref intimidation from so many Albion players after he gave the penalty :lolol:

Thanks for that, one of my best if not best ever day as an Albion fan

What the f*** was Melia telling our laces to go over to the kop for. Stupid clown.

Seem to remember we got applause from all over the ground at the end...suprisingly  Probably for that reason but more likely the fact that we had two Liverpool born fans at the club at the time, Melia being one

The good old days when the Albion were a joy to watch. I was 15 then didn't get to Anfield but a few weeks later I went to probably the most memorable game i've ever been to ( other the the Final ) the semi final at Highbury.

Happy Days !!!

I was there. The BEST day EVER in watching the Albion for pushing 50 years, including 2 Cup Finals, Highbury, Cardiff and all the others.

I can't understand all the fuss from the Albion players over the penalty, looked pretty clear cut to me. Mind you, on the day, from 100 yards away I could clearly see it definitely was NOT a penalty, just a conspiracy by the Welsh pillock Clive Thomas (I think) to help out his neighbours. Everyone around me could see that too.

I knew it was going to be our day when a Seagull flew over our stand and the Albion fans erupted. We are Brighton from the south still sends a shiver down my spine today.

Incidentally the match was mentioned in the divorce petition presented by my ex-wife 8 (yes, 8!) years later as part of her attempt to prove that I was a terrible husband to leave her and our two small babies to go to a football match. She's bloody luck I didn't take Commander with me but he was only 1 year old at the time. Women!

And all you so-called fans who say you weren't there because you weren't born, a REAL Albion supporter would have been there in spirit. I was at the game when we won the Charity Shield and I will be at the 2077 Cup Final when this time we beat Man U.

Time to go and lay down, I thnk :p

That too is on there, the whole 90 minutes if you search for it.

I love watch the goal celebrations when Case scores.
