Huddersfield Town during the miners strike early 80s. Backed up by a few miners down for a conference? Went off by Hove station. Recall a lad throwing himself on top of them as Huddersfield came up the steps from the where the tunnel/bus station is. One of the funniest things I had seen. Immediately nicked.

Remember a couple in the East who got taken out after punching the nearest to them

Did Ted McDougall play for Bournemouth in that game. And maybe Phil Boyer?

I watched the fun in the North Stand from the South. As you say Bournemouth got in early or surely wouldn't have taken it?

Yes they did. We had a song about Ted, to the tune of 'Jesus Christ, superstar....'

I have to be honest and hurts me to say but Brighton have been complete pussies when it comes down to it going back to the early 70’s. Portsmouth have ran us ragged tbh. I’ve seen Brighton bottle it against all the usuals.
