A decent League One side, someone like Brentford would suit him well I reckon,as long as Martin Allen liked him!!!

After all we will still be a Championship side:p

That's the way I was thinking but would Leon accept dropping a level?

It did last season. So what has changed?

The quality of defenders..

The rise in quality has impacted on the whole team, not just Leon, and thus the service has got relatively worse. Our position this year as one of the worse teams in the league has made our game suit our more physical, direct strikers more. I'm sure if we stay up and improve, Leon will come to thrive at this level.

I think he'll go, and we will get some cash as he's Under 24. According to the Insider a few months ago this is the case despite not coming through our ranks.

I would put my money on Reading as he looked class under Coppell

Other than Reading I don't think there are many "big" Championship options for him just yet. I still think (hope) he'll stay if we survive.

I really hope he stays. He is, in my opinion, our most talented footballer. We just need to give him and the team time. Hopefully Leon will stick with us and reap the rewards. :)

I notice Paul Brooker has broke into the Reading team again and is having a few good games. This looks like Leon's future, a squad member who'll get a few games now and then when Coppell needs to shake things up a bit.

I hope he stays with us though, it's in the balance, and uses his immense talent to overcome some pretty big limitations in his game.

I sincerely doubt he has a future as a centre-forward because he has neither the strength nor a devastating 10-yard acceleration burst of speed to get him clear of quick defenders, a Webber, a Blackstock, a Hayles, he ain't. But with discipline and hardwork and consistency, he could become a fine winger. The Sunderland game, his best this season, showed that future.

I think he will go and to be honest his attitude is wrong. When he 1st came he chased down and looked hungry, this season he has been somewhat petulant and lacked confidence. His body language says i am above this on numerous occasions.

Now this may be due to the service he receives but its a team game and when in the mire like we are we need to all buckle down and frankly he does not.

A change of attitude and I welcome him, carry on throwing the toys out of the pram and getting needless suspensions then hello jake bye bye Leon

That's just plain nonsense, really. He has worked far harder this year than he did last ... criticise his end product if you want to, but to accuse him of not working for the team is garbage; he works as hard as anyone on that pitch.

Just because he isnt a bumbling fool like mccammon doesnt mean he isnt trying.

If you have a team of oatways and mccammon you will go down, just because they try doesnt mean they are good enough

Adam Virgo must play whether it's with McPhee, McCammon or Robinson, he is our most important attacking player and you can tell he wants the club to stay up, Leon's posture and recent performances would suggest otherwise.

If we lost Virgs at the end of the season I would be devastated but if we lost Leon I don't think it would be as big a blow.

Maybe because he had a manager that had faith in him.

Zamora wants to go to Reading according to the players i spoke to on monday as Coppell is there

God forbid a team of Oatways, McCammons or the latest lump Dolan, Knight is an infinately more skillful player than those but his application is not there. I question his ability to stay on his feet and deliver the killer ball against the better defenders in the championship - McGhee does not favour him as a centre forward. It is a cruel fact that McCammon can kick his way out of trouble where as Knight will be squatted

Last year I thought he was a 100%er giving his all in the games he played. This year he has had games where his head is elsewhere. He has chased down on occasion, normally televised games, but does not look at the races.

The end product is not there this season cause he is not played in a position to produce goals, but how many assists has he got?

By the way I dont care if he waves to the fans at away matches or not. I just want him to play well.
