Thats a bit harsh. Farrington wasn't actually that bad, it's only because his goals scored record was bad that he gets slated so much.

Are we talking about the same Farrington here?

The one I'm thinking of was the worst player I have seen play for the Albion in almost 50 years of watching.

I'll grant you he was a reasonably good footballer compared to the most people (me included) but certainly not good enough to play professional football at our level.

Mind you, he did OK in Holland before he came to us, apparently.
