He could be the driver an articulated lorry
He could be a poet, he wouldn't need to worry
He could be a teacher in a classroom full of scholars
He could be the sergeant in a squadron full of wallahs

He could be a lawyer with strategems and ruses
He could be a doctor with poultices and bruises
He could be a writer with a growing reputation
He could be the ticket man at Fulham Broadway Station

He could be the catalyst that sparks the revolution
He could be an inmate in a long-term institution
He could dream to wide extremes, he could do or die
He could yawn and be withdrawn and watch the world go by

What a waste

This has to be the post of the year, Spot on!

Still young enough to restart his career in the Conference if he could get his head in gear and to think that he thinks that he is a better player than Defoie. 3 months scoring goals in the Conference would get somebody to sign him and give him another chance in January. If he could get his head into gear. A big IF.

I think he actually kept Defoe out of the Senrab team. As everyone said, if he got his head right he would have been a great player. When he was at Chelsea he was earmarked to replace Zola but his attitude ruined it for him.

Imagine if we had a squad of 20 players with Leon Knight's ability and Gary Hart's attitude and commitment - we'd be coasting our way to the Premiership.

It's about time people accepted the fact that Leon Knight is well and truly history. The way he flounced out of Brighton and his contemptuous remarks about our relegation leave him looking like that complete wanker he clearly is. Frankly I couldn't care less about what he does and very very much doubt that any of his subsequent clubs do either.

Remember Mal Stuart telling us at an end of season sponsors dinner that LKs problems had warranted McGhee's attention to the extent of about a day per working week. Apparently Knights issues were financial (well documented) and legal (endless traffic/speeding offences apparently) and involved plenty of meetings with the plod. MS also said that LK and an entourage of hangers on at the time were a continual pain in the arris.

You could write that IF 10 foot tall, but it just isn't going to happen.

One day he'll wake up (well at least I hope so), have a moment of clarity, but sadly that will be far to little far to late, for his footie career anyway.
