Nothing to do with truth hurting, the guys a prick and is taking the piss out of the club that most of us love. When he left he could have keep his mouth shut got on with his football and I for one would have respected him for that

Its clear (except for a few) that he is taking a swipe at us. Maybe your not bothered but I think it stinks.

LEON DISMISSES BRIGHTON RETURN

Phil Blanche, WM, May 29 2006

LEON KNIGHT took another dig at old club Brighton after Swansea City's failure to win promotion guaranteed him Public Enemy No1 status at the Withdean Stadium next season.

Brighton's recent relegation from the Championship found favour with Knight, who left the South Coast in January after falling out with Seagulls boss Mark McGhee.

And, after branding Brighton's modest home a "shoebox," Knight knows he will have to run the gauntlet of angry home fans at the Withdean next season.

"What all six thousand of them?" replied Knight when asked if he was looking forward to a tough League One reception at Brighton.

"I've had bigger fans than that on my back. I'm not bothered about them, they should be bothered about us because we'll steamroller them.

"They're not in our league when it comes to footballing ability, technical-wise. I've seen they've signed people like Richard Carpenter and Charlie Oatway again - players who are ancient history. We'll go there with fresh players and be too good for them."

Knight believes Swansea are capable of regrouping and making a strong promotion push next season. "We were top of the league at Christmas, so next year we've just got to hold that and maintain a run of winning games," said the 23-year-old Londoner.

"We'll probably have some better players coming in, so I think we've got a great chance. There's a few good clubs coming down so the league should be interesting. But I know we can hold our own because I played against a few of those clubs who came down this season.

"There was always a risk I wouldn't be going back to the Championship when I came here. But I signed a three-year contract and I'm looking to score goals next season and push for promotion again."

???

I agree with you he has gone too far in attacking and naming those fellow team mates.

I can only assume that there has been some history between him and those players which is a shame.

I am sure charlie and chippy will handle it in the right spirit and we will stuff them.

Okay unless there is a u turn i will support the boo boys and will be joining in at their new stadium.

LI i take it you will be a boo boy for the day then?

It's not my style to be honest, but a bit of pantomime could add to the atmosphere at Withdean and the Liberty, it certainly did at Elland Road re. Harding

The only reason the little gobshite keeps moaning on about the Albion is because he LOVES US REALLY. And he's gutted he's not here any more. He protests too much. He would rather be here. But he f***ed it up and is now whingeing like a wanker.

IA good man manager will get the best out of stroppy little Leon.

Maybe we should ask our saviour MM if he would like the fans to boo him for ninety minutes.

Dick Knight got the best out of LK by getting £ 125 K for him.

LK won't be playing for Brighton on his next Withdean appearance, he'll be trying to defeat us. Which makes him fair game for ' sledging ' in my book. I'd expect any professional sportsman to understand that.

Would you cheer Mushtaq Ahmed for taking an English wicket in a test match, just because he plays for Sussex ?

I would be very pleased for Mushy, as he is a stateman and a gentleman, and a shining example to cricket.

I don't think it is fair game, when he is insulting his former team mates and the club (as a whole) that paid him very well. Of course, it is the done thing to say I really want to put one over my old club, but not go as far as ripping everything about them to shreads.
