Apparently leon is a third dan black belt in karate, so i'd like to see what state the player on the receiving end is in.

Two sore ankles and a bruised kneecap, but nothing above that.

What I always liked about Knight was his passion. He wasn't just here for the paycheck. How many of the players subsequent to him can we say that about?

dear oh dear....

If he had even bothered to keep himself fit, he wouldn't have had half the problems he had with the management.

I loved the MASSIVE hard on he had after that, just showed how much he cared about The Albion.

I liked the way he cared for the Albion so much that he had his Palace away shirt from Selhurst on Ebay within 24 hours of the match

Pity he didn't know how to write a cheque, that way he would not have lost his car for failing to make the monthly payments.

It is quite amazing the amount of brown-nosing of Knight that still goes on from some of the more star-struck fans even though he held us in contempt. *Adopts simpering voice* "Oh Leon, Leon you were so marvellous; if only that nasty McGhee hadn't been so beastly to you you'd be playing for us still!"

And he had such nice words for us after he joined Swansea. What a true gent he really was.

LEON KNIGHT took another dig at old club Brighton after Swansea City's failure to win promotion guaranteed him Public Enemy No1 status at the Withdean Stadium next season.

Brighton's recent relegation from the Championship found favour with Knight, who left the South Coast in January after falling out with Seagulls boss Mark McGhee.

And, after branding Brighton's modest home a "shoebox," Knight knows he will have to run the gauntlet of angry home fans at the Withdean next season.

"What all six thousand of them?" replied Knight when asked if he was looking forward to a tough League One reception at Brighton.

"I've had bigger fans than that on my back. I'm not bothered about them, they should be bothered about us because we'll steamroller them.

"They're not in our league when it comes to footballing ability, technical-wise.

"I've seen they've signed people like Richard Carpenter and Charlie Oatway again - players who are ancient history.

"We'll got there with fresh players and be too good for them."

Can't beat his passion for the Albion can you.

Snide little wanker.

Brilliant Gruaniad website typo and subsequent apology on this episode.....

"This article was amended on 7 December 2009. In the original, a sub-heading said: "Santa and Hamilton's [Leon] Knight to be reported for violent conduct". This has been corrected."

Leon even picks a fight with Father Christmas....

Yeah, pretty funny the HUGE fuss over nothing when that happened. Compared to things he did that were actually wrong.

I don't think it was nothing at all... I'm sure Virgs didn't either. I think that showed perfectly what sort of person he is. Absolutely no consideration of others around him.
