More good news from the Argus today then.

It's the Albion Christmas Clearout! Everyone must go!

Knight, back to his best in Friday night's 1-0 home defeat by Stoke, said: "I've got five months left on my contract until the end of the season.

"I haven't been offered a new contract and everyone respects Danny Cullip's decision.

"It's looking like it is going the same way for other players, including me, but we've got to put that all behind us.

I tell you what, i;ve had enough of this f***ing shit. :nono:

Regardless of everything that is going on at the moment there has to be a Fans' Forum very soon-and at a large venue so we can all attend comfortably. The time has definitely come for the club to let us all know what the hell is going on-REALLY going on. Not what the Arsegas is telling us.

You also have to ask if this is all happening to send a very strong message to John Prescott that this club is dying without a stadium capable of sustaining League football.

It's all very depressing though and if Leon has suggested he will be off soon-let's get some money for him (if anybody is interested in him after a dismal season in goal scoring terms).

If Leon does go, don't Chelsea have a hefty sell on clause? If so we'd have to get a decent bid (£500k) to make it worth while.

Reading are trying to negotiate with the club at the moment but dont want to pay a fee! If they can organise it he will go soon, if not he will be joining them at the end of the season!

Who the hell would pay £500,000 he hasn't exactly scored many goals at this level has he?
I reckon we'd be lucky to get a fee of any note.

I f***ed off with this bollox now.

Kitson will be out for a fair few weeks, but to be honest I don't think Knight is a good part-time replacement. Forster is back and is pacy, short, and quality. Surely the ideal man to be alongside him has to be tall and good in the air. Knight is not that man!
