Leon is our most talented player and his only crime is showing signs of CARING about being taken off.

McGhee needs to handle him better and some of the fans on here do not deserve to see someone as talented as him in the Brighton side.

He won't be chucked out, but it may lead to him not signing a new contract and leaving at the end of the season. :nono:

Steve Coppell knew how to handle him. I don't think it is Leon throwing his toys out of the pram.

If I was taken on while Kazim-Richards was left on I would have been gutted as well.

He is a good player - FACT

...but acts like a baby. away @ Leicester said it was 'f*ckin bullsh*t mate' when he got subbed. He doesn't like not playing which you need, but he hasn't been performing.

Steve Coppell only managed him for about 10 weeks. :dunce:

Jesus, hes a decent player but If you lot think hes that good then you need your eyes testing. I doubt many other Championship sides would be that itnerested in signing him.

He can be a great player, and yes it's good that he gets annoyed at being subbed, but he's got to learn to respect the manager's decision without sulking about it

Well lets face it if they rated him theyd have made a move for him, is that the same Blackwell who bought Harding?

And if anyone offered a couple of hundred grand wed have sold him already, so they obviously dont want him that badly.

If my boss patted me on the back for doing a good job and I petulantly flicked my arm back and gave it the large, not onve but several times, then Id expect repurcussions.

Exactly. Robbie Keane went off in a huff last year for Spurs, gestured at Martin Jol and stormed down the tunnel. Yet Jol, unlike McGhee, played it down, pointing out quite rightly that Keane was only upset because he was desperate to play. The same was true of Knight, and McGhee could have handled it much better.

It was LEON who got us promoted NOT McGhee but people back up McGhee and point to our promotion.

Your embarrasing yourself again Richie, so Leon got us promotod all on his own?

How many games has he played, how many goals has he scored?

Legend?

Nay, nay and thrice nay.

Would you not be annoyed if you were taken off a project in favour for someone who was not as good as you?

As good as you at what? Everyone has different strengths and weaknesses and people of different capabilities can be used effectively in different circumstances. It's management's decision about how and when to use people.

I don't want Leon Knight running the team thank you, I want Mark McGhee to do it.

He has a roughly 3:1 games/goals ratio ... not too shoddy.

mainly in league One ..whats the ratio in The Championship?...Personally I dont think he is good enough at this level (along with a few others in our team)
