It seems that Wycombe have signed a prolific Brazilian goalscorer from Crawley who seems to expecting to be 1st choice alongside McGleish. Maybe it's moving further down the pecking order that is the real problem in LK's mind.

The arse end of Hangleton
indeed he did and it was inexcuseable but he was the one who got us promoted, he gave us a great day out at the MilStad. His conduct after he left was awful. however it is us having the last laugh, he failed to get promotion with Swansea, fell out there and is now in a lower division (earning less) and getting fined for his conduct. wont be long before goes further down the pyramid

I think you might be underestimating the contribution by the rest of the squad somewhat ???

It's getting harder to argue that his best spell ever over a sustained period wasn't when he was here though

He just needs to grow up. Life does not always go your way, you do not always get the job you want and sometimes you have to open your eyes and set your standards lower.

The correct response to being asked to play in the reserves should have been to go out and score 3 or 4 goals after working his balls off in training. Thus giving the manager something to think about.

Leon Knight, he's alright.

(He's not of course, he's a thick wanker, but I just thought I'd get it in before THPP posts his usual tedious one liner)

Blimey, I got flammed for raising another LK story about his petulance on a thread a few weeks ago - told by lots of holy-er than though posters like Richie Morries that he's left the Albion (really?), let it go, etc etc. Hypocracy alive and well on NSC I see therefore!!!

PS Still think LK's a nob, always have, always will - long may the LK comedy stories continue  The man's incapable of making gaffs and we look forward to the next one!

Leon Knight = Massivetime, jumped up, overpayed, arrogant, short arsed, rudeboy who doesn't know what the term professional even begins to mean...

Leon Knight is doing what he's always done, if anything he's getting worse the older he gets.

A word of credit has to go to Mark McGhee for getting him to toe the line and score plenty for as long as he did.

It's not looking good for him.

There will always be managers like Warnock, Dowie and Adams around who will look at troublemakers like Knight and think they can get them on the cheap and turn them around.

The problem for Knight is that you can get away with this at 3 or 4 clubs but once you've messed 5 or 6 around there will be very few takers.

The lower down the League he drops the younger the squads get, by and large. What manager in his right mind wants a bad influence like Knight disrupting all of the 19-21 year old kids coming through?

Coppell signed Knight and got him playing. McGhee did a Peter Taylor and just steered us home. I take nothing away from McGhee's ability to keep us up for one season but Leon Knight did little more than walk around the pitch throwing his hands in the air, taking deserved abuse from the South Stand and chip in with what? 3 or 4 goals?

You'd think by now he'd have learned to stop biting the hand that feeds him but he never does, I'm afraid the non league is beckoning for that boy and allthough it's a waste of his talent he's only got himself to blame.

especialy when you compre his progress with that of the other "arrogant little @@@" that played for us, namely ckr

one is an international and in the champions league

and one is not playing for wycombe reserves at chesham

tit

Er, 26 goals in 46 games, under McGhee for the vast majority of that 2003/04season. I think McGhee, as a former forward, must take SOME credit for getting that sort of performance out of Knight.

The lad has since managed to start 50 matches in 2 seasons in a lower division.
