He is abit light weight. The time he turned the guy on the edge of the box near the end and got nothing may have been because of what went on earlier.
Luton went out of their way to rough him up today.Lots of kicks, pulls and tugs off the ball ayt corners and free kicks. As he plays more he will get used to it.Mustn't over react or start whinging because he will get nothing back.He has to get on with it use his pace and skill to do the talking.
The worry is if he keeps getting kicked up in the air how many games will he miss through injury.
He is a class player and doesn't need fans criticism over his antics.
If he goes down when kicked is that any worse then Mayo ?

I think he has already proved that he can do it at this level. Today he faced a team that was a little unsporting to say the least.

At work - probably
Don't worry about Leon - he is class. Against Luton he still had a couple of chances despite being quiet - one shot across the goal and that diving header from Jonah's bit of magic - if either of those had gone in we would have been raving about his performance. He also tormented their defence for Charlie's goal. I think he was quiet after being clattered about - 'cos he was hurt.

He'll be fine in this division and will score A LOT of goals for us. As dunno said, he had a quiet game today and was still close to scoring 2. Must sort out the diving etc though. I reckon he would have been very close to being sent off if SC hadn't hauled him off towards the end.

Not sure about the last 'dive' though, I thought it was a dive from where I was (block C) - but some friends in block J thought it was a clear cut penalty

good thread, an interesting one. I'm glad I'm not the only worried about the impact of a heavy marking job on the lil fella's performances. I suppose the only bright spot is that it will free up more space for our other attackers.
