From the back page of the argus:

He says he was due to be on the bench against the Saints, but after voicing disaproval of FDM being dropped, Mcghee dropped him.

Can someone post the full story when it's on the internet?

Leon Knight has conceded that his Albion career has reached an end. The pint sized striker, who scored the goal at Cardiff to secure Albion's promotion less than two years ago, was not even in the depleted 16 man squad that lost to Southampton yesterday.

Knight had been due to start on the bench, but when Mark McGhee announced the side and Florence from the Magic Roundabout was given the nod over Michel Kuipers, Knight claims he told McGhee that he had picked the wrong man
between the sticks.

A club insider reveals a different tale "McGhee had taken the players away the night before the Southampton game for a team bonding session. Things were going well and Leon and McGhee were seen talking and laughing together. However, during an intensive Kerplunk session Leon claimed that Bob Booker had deliberately nudged him, causing him to lose 6 balls in a single go. Leon thought that McGhee had put Booker up to do this and was sulking. McGhee blew his top and brought up the fact that Leon had deliberately lied about the rope in the kitchen in a previous Cluedo tournament and it kicked off big style"

Rumours that Kuipers was dropped after he put one of his hands a little too close to Dean White's crotch during a game of Twister later on in the evening have yet to be confirmed

No it's not, while I admit that 80% of what I post on NSC is lies, the other 30% is factually accurate

He has proved that his heart isn't in it and he could have made it at this grade and could have been a Brighton hero, but we will never know now. Good luck and thanks for helping us up to the Championship.

Makes you wonder why McGhee doesn't have a quiet word with the players he intends playing/not playing well in advance of getting them into the dressing-room. Might avoid a lot of the flouncing.

Do you think that Leon would have complained so much about Chaigneau playing if he was black?

Thanks for the memories Leon. McGhee dosnt deserve you.

Leon has had countless chances to make amends, Its come to the point where i would pick McCammon along way before Leon Knight. He will be playing where he belongs next season, League 1

Rumours are that Leon lost it during a game of Subbuteo, he complained that Charlie was flicking his feet too hard, raced down to the other end of the pitch and snapped the goalie off his rod.

A few versions of this TRUE story will be in the press today or tommorrow:

Leon was thrown off the coach by Magoo before the game. Leon bitched about Kuipers being dropped and Magoo lost it. Several players had to intervene and eventually Leon was let back on the coach.

Leon's agent has gone public with this story. Also confirmed he has handed in a transfer request. Dick Knight is furious with Magoo - according to Leon's agent.
