It would make a nice change if we signed someone who is it fit in the first place

Wouldn't that make a change as would somebody not at the end of their career who was actually Championship quality.

I would not right him off, he did well at the end of his Newcastle spell before being shipped out to Blackburn, I thought he was going to clear up in this league, but then suffered quite a serious injury and was out for a long time.

If we can get him fit and playing with the right attitude got to be seen as a good signing IMO. If we can't however we could just have another Agustine

Who?

Hope we sign him for longer than 6 months unless we are getting a 2nd striker in as well this window.

Didn't work at Derby. He may have lost the ability to score::

'Striker Leon Best has returned to Blackburn Rovers after his season-long loan with Derby County was cut short.
The 28-year-old joined the Rams in August but only started three matches.
And his hopes of getting more game time were further hampered by the signing of former England striker Darren Bent.
Head coach Steve McClaren told BBC Radio Derby: "He has not had many chances and has not really taken them when he's had them, but his attitude has been great."
Republic of Ireland international Best, who played 15 times as a substitute in the Championship without making the starting line-up, failed to impress in the 1-0 FA Cup victory over Southport on Saturday.
But McClaren could not fault the former Coventry City and Newcastle United forward's approach to training.
"He has been an absolute gem - a model professional," McClaren said. "His attitude has been great every day,
"He has just been unfortunate that he has been behind Chris Martin, who has been incredible for the first half of the season."

Won't get much more game time with us if we persist in not playing a target man with someone playing off him. Shame really as in Colunga, Baldock and CMS we have three players best suited to playing off a target man

I've no idea if this transfer is happening but i'd be very wary of accounts reporting it such as this one.

They've often got Albion transfers wrong in the past and set hares running with unfounded "news".

Hmmm. Not really sure. Doesn't seem to have done much for a while, but I would prefer to COG.
