Great move for him but goes to show how small time the SPL is.
Hard to imagine today that Rangers was the richest club in the UK in 1990

Today the Albion's need for all the centre backs, kicks off in the Monkey Tennis League.
Balogun playing really well on his Rangers debut alongside Connor Goldson.
This is Leon's level TBH so pleased for him - won't forget that sweet volley against them up the road
They haven't experienced his usual one catastrophic lapse per game up there yet - still, at that level he'll probably get away with it more often than not. He’s way above that level which he proved with Wigan last season where his arrival pretty much turned them from relegation fodder to top six form. Rangers are a big club but that division is comparable to Div 1 In The EPL at best. Leon could easily have done well at any Championship side.
That’s football. Fair to say we’ve done alright without him.
If this podcast is anything to go by, Leon Balogun and Potter aren't top of each other's Christmas card lists - Balogun basically complains as to never being given a fair chance at Brighton, especially during the 2019/20 season
The relevant part of the video is from the 26 minute mark to just over 37 mins

As has he without the Albion.
