I always liked the sound of Blyth Spartans and Billingham Synthonia...a more recent favourite is Newi Cefn Druids...that has a really pleasant ring to it, I imagine their supporters stood on the terraces looking like they would be more at home at Stonehenge on the summer solstice.

Their full name is, of course, the North East Wales Institute of Higher Education Cefn Druids, or - if you prefer the Welsh - Derwyddon Cefn Athrofa Addysg Uwch Gogledd Ddwyrain Cymru.

They play at Cefn Mawr, in Wrexham, and are the oldest football club in the world outside England.
