is tonight, against Plymouth

16 Southampton 29 7 13 9 29 32 -3 34
17 Hull City 30 8 9 13 31 36 -5 33
18 Derby County 30 6 14 10 40 47 -7 32
19 Plymouth Argyle 28 7 11 10 26 35 -9 32
20 Sheffield Wednesday 30 7 9 14 24 37 -13 30
21 Brighton & Hove Albion 30 5 13 12 30 47 -17 28
22 Leicester City 29 5 11 13 29 39 -10 26
23 Millwall 30 5 11 14 22 42 -20 26
24 Crewe Alexandra 30 4 10 16 33 63 -30 22

On reflection, a draw would probably be best for us although failing that, a Plymouth victory

Leicester CANNOT win

I was speaking to a Plymouth fan in the office about this. In the original fixture, Plymouth were 2-0 up until a waterlogged pitch forced postponement.

At the time, I remembered thinking what a result that was for us as Plymouth were poo and Leicester mid table. Doesn't look quite so good now though, eh. :nono:

Plymouth have got their act together and by all accounts have been playing some pretty attractive stuff. They also have two games in hand on us so, with Leicester hurtling down the slippery slope I would have to say - a home win for the Pilgrims. We have Leicester at home next month and a chance to grab 3 vital points!

Whilst a Leicester defeat would keep us out of the relegation zone for now, it may way well prove the last straw for Leicester's board and they could sack Levein. I really want him to stay in charge until after they play us because he looks utterly helpless at the moment.

The thing is, he'll get sacked soon enough anyhow. And even after he's gone, Leicester will still have some shit players. I'd rather Plymouth just got on with the business of kicking them while they're down.

But a point or a defeat won't make an awful lot of difference to Leicester, while a draw keeps Plymouth down with us.

changed mind to a draw

i still think wednesday are the key and we gotta hope milwall lose the plot

Going along tonight hoping to see Plymouth win - but, as per normal, when I go there I'll be supporting the other team by half time! - can't help it I'm afraid.
