Difficult one to judge, Don't like Stains but don't like the corporate Brady Bunch of West Ham either.. oh what to do ?

I want Wet Spam to win by a few goals, Saints to draw or lose to Coventry and then the Hammers to beat Hull too, sending Southampton out of the top two for the first time all season.
How brilliant would that be?

Personally I would rather see Stains go up. I dont like bag o'nails mouth Big sam nor do I like the players at WHU who seem to take great delight in winding up the opposing supporters after they score!..................

From an entirely selfish perspective - West Ham will still have parachute payments next year, so I'd rather they buggered off out of the Championship and left Southampton for us to compete against.

Totally irrelevant as Southampton will not fail to win at home to Coventry on Saturday. West Ham can win 5-1 tonight if they want, they're still not going up automatically.

If West Ham build up the goal difference tonight, then suddenly a draw won't be enough for Saints on Saturday = massive, massive pressure. I'm sure teams have buckled/bottled it under less...

But, wouldn't it be lovely to see Adkins go in to complete meltdown after Stains being in control for two thirds of the season ?

Good to see both Adkins and Allardyce not having things all their own way. I will be content to see Saints come 2nd (again - ha ha) and see West Ham have to sweat through the playoffs.

Result: a not so smug Adkins and squeaky bum time for Allardyce and cronies.
