So Rodgers just a few games into the EPL season is taking it far more seriously than a European adventure.

Being a home game and the group opener, I thought he might play the full works.

Moyes tonight ‘risked’ the key players - Rice, Soucek, Cresswell and Antonio, and they’ve won.

Napoli always seem dangerous with two or three annoyingly good creators/forwards.

In front of a home crowd and being the first group game, Rodgers imo will be forced into playing his best 11 or thereabouts.

Still would have preferred them to be playing away.

I remember seeing some statistics a while ago which showed teams who play on a Sunday against an opposition who have competed away from home in the Europa League a few days prior have a much greater chance of taking points.

With a decent striker, Napoli would’ve been out of sight. Players frantically doing ‘a Bissouma’ with shots to row Z in that first half.

Whilst Leicester home and away seem to ride their luck with a counter attacking game robbing teams who just can’t tuck chances away. They do seem bloody dangerous on the break with pace everywhere.
