Left-footed CB would indeed be nice, been the case for a few years... Webster has a good left foot though.

Our bench today consisted of;

1 GK
2 RBs - Both of which are lower in the pecking order than a player who isn't naturally a RB
1 CB
1 CM - Who clearly isn't trusted or up to it
2 'CAM' - Two young un's who need to get minute and up to the scratch of it all
1 ST - Third in the pecking order striker, will probably get shipped out on loan

If you don't have healthy competition sat on the bench then what do the starting 11 have to worry about?

Yeah we have a good team, but we could all pick the starting 11 each week because the bench doesn't really pose a threat

Shows how far we’ve come when disappointed with a point away at Leicester.

Lallana is so influential in this side, he’s a big loss and I think that showed when he went off. Would like to see us bring in a CM this window as feel we are a little short at the moment.

JVH struggled alongside Dunk, you have the feeling RDZ doesn’t rate Webster, suspect we could be looking to again strengthen in that department in the summer. Colwill was a big miss.

Mitoma excellent, probably the shining light in a somewhat under par performance, not helped by Leicesters negative approach.

Mac Allister, Colwill and Lallana are 3 big missed for us and I just feel we don’t have the strength in depth to maintain a push for a top 7 finish.

Welbeck ahead of Ferguson? Very strange decision for RDZ.

Must be the Liverpool game surely. If a player gets a booking next week in the cup the FA aren't telling us that will only count towards cup games and won't be added to their league total? Oh scrub that, we're talking the FA, of course they will, knobs!!!

I don’t think he was great today, but he’s scored 4 in his last 6 after not scoring in 700 games.

Asking why Solly has suddenly started fluffing his chances more is like asking why Hugh Hefner had suddenly turned his back on a monogamous lifestyle after he died. A little backwards to say the least
