Harvey Barnes worries me against gross on a pace front but then RDZ probably more concerned about what we do with the ball and gross is in form.

I think there’s more to the Webster one than his rustiness when returning from injury.

Webster is an excellent ball carrier as a centre half, which was often utilised under Potter. RDZ doesn’t want as much of that, he wants someone who is gonna follow his instructions implicitly, like Colwill does. He must think JPV is capable of the same.

Can't stand the diving weasely little ****, but Madison can be a real game changer. They've been lost without him. He's on the bench.
Hadn’t seen the line up - but yes, although depends whether he’s back to full fitness or just there for some minutes. It’s worrying me less and less too when we need to rotate players (eg Colwill/Hecke/Webster or Gross/Veltman or Welbeck/Ferguson etc) - Pervis and Gross are key to RDZs tactics if Leicester park the bus imo (which is going to be very likely if they score early) but we may be lucky to get away with a 1:2 win (HvA) - we are not the same team though that struggled to beat them away last season and also have a deeper squad now. Even though Leicester is one of those teams you never really know what they can pull out of the bag, if we just play how we have been playing recently, there’s no problem, we’ll crush ‘em

Yup. Different skill set. Webster still has a part to play but his best attribute (IMHO), his ball carrying, just doesn't look like something that fits this style. Gonna have to adapt slightly.

I’m really pleased that JPVH gets the nod over Webster.

Why?

Because Webbo is notoriously poor in the comeback campaign after injury. I think he is better than JPVH but needs to be gradually reintroduced so as to minimise the inevitable clangers.
VH is left footed. Also can’t really see the point of developing LC if there is no deal to be done.
