He made the central run to occupy the Leicester defender, so that Mitoma had an easier passage when he cut inside.

Have another look at the extended highlights, from 01:40 onwards.
Yes, I agree - but I think the 'official' assist is the last pass. Otherwise, we'd have to give all sorts of assists for players creating space and so on!

VH's header, March's slip in front of goal, Mac A's shot and even the shot after Welbeck had been fouled. All of those were good chances and in current form would have expected a few of those to be put away.
I am not sure form has anything to do with how loose the turf is or if a deflection goes your way or not.

Solly’s standing foot slipped. Simple as that.
I get that, but if it was Messi he would have calmly without any effort tucked it away without slipping. It didn't need a huge effort to get to the ball.

Sorry Solly if you are watching, you have been great this season.

Agreed - I was surprised to see our Xg as 1.5 - Vah Hecke & March's chances must have been pretty high Xg.

Just watched MOTD. I got confused because I thought we played against Leicester? In the post match analysis apparently only Leicester played as we weren't mentioned?

It's not just me. For example they showed Praet coming off and Albrighton on at 35 mins but not Lallana coming off 5 mins before or Welbeck for Fergie who scored.

Oh well. At some point I'll be shocked with a decent analysis of Brighton instead of brush off yes they're good.
I guess they had to show Albrighton coming on as he scored

I must have missed something Dazzer. The bit I’ve accessed only seems to talk about how useless Vardy is now. That can’t be the extent of the article Shirley?

I think the reason they showed the injury / sub was because Allbrighton scored. They do like to show a player coming on if they score later. A but like showing a yellow card if the player gets a 2nd yellow later. All part of the story.

Odd that they didn't even mention our 2 excellent goals though.

Like Ferguson, you mean...? ;)

I don't particularly mind about the MoTD coverage. They've got limited time to spend on each game and I'm guessing that over the course of the season, the time given to each club evens itself out. I'm sure the other week (can't remember who the opposition was), the narrative was "Brighton are really great. And now they're scoring loads of goals, too." The other team didn't get much of a mention – probably because there wasn't enough time to do it justice without it looking like it had been shoehorned into the chat.

Yep, we've had plenty of good coverage this season on motd. I think it also depends on the pundits, the ones who love our style seem to enjoy showing the clips and talking it through.
