What did he do that looked promising in any way?
No key passes, no goals, he stopped dead in his tracks when clean through on goal, he took a pointless pot-shot from miles out and still scuffed it and headed the ball 10ft over the bar from 6yds out.
What part of that performance shows promise to you?

Winning the ball multiple times, good runs, tidy on the ball. I know some of you think that the only thing that makes a striker good or bad is his number of goals but I look at more than that.

So how do you explain Potter's willingness and desire to keep Locadia at the club? He puts in next to no effort (and never has done) and clearly has no desire to improve (or just doesn't have the capacity to improve).

lazy twatt on 60 k a month , he's laughing all the way to a tulip farm in Arnhem......knob...!!

It wasn't drowned out in the TV feed - clear boos every time he was on the ball.

That laughable line from the commentator was surely pre-agreed in the production meeting for such an eventuality as a way to explain the boos, all very North Korean state TV, why not just make no comment on it at all rather than trot out the nonsense he did? Going to be a potential issue for other commentators going forward I suspect, should he get more game time.

Have to say that Biss looked very chirpy between the end of the game and penalties chatting with the other players. I think this and the fact that he played bodes well…..having said that I have got so much wrong on this thread :lolol:

Are you sure you wasn’t looking at Billy Reid?

How did Biss do when he came on?
The commentator on the stream I was watching said that the Boo's from the Leicester supporters, Every time Biss touched the ball, was in fact the Brighton fans shouting shoot as he likes a long shot.

The same commentator got Connolly and Macmister confused all through the first half.

I feel Biss still has this hanging over him and tries his best. Gotta be hard for him to fully concentrate, especially with Boo's every time he touched the ball.

Great from the Brighton fans to bring the Biss song out.

Probably not worthy of a new thread but it looks like Jamie Vardy could be missing for our visit to Leicester on 23rd January.

From The Athletic:
Jamie Vardy has been ruled out for the next three to four weeks due to a hamstring problem.
The Leicester City striker picked up the injury in the Carabao Cup game against Liverpool but kept playing through the problem. He was left on the bench against Manchester City and then exacerbated the issue in his side’s 1-0 win over Liverpool in the Premier League.
Brendan Rodgers has now revealed he will be out until the latter stages of January.
