I've just wondered whether we shouldn't just leave it for now and replace it at the end of the season with a scene which captures the moment of our glorious title win :albion2:

Some fans have long been embarrassed by his behaviour since leaving the albion, a little while ago there was Former Chelsea footballer Leon Knight investigated over Danielle Lloyd hate tweet after police 'troll' crackdown | Mail Online , but last night he invited guys to send pictures of their exes, for him to post and expose them as "slags" to warn off other men. He started posting them last night, and is rumoured to have been arrested (Leon Knight: slag alert on Twitter..). This has led to a renewal of calls for his picture to be taken down (Remove Leon Knight from the ?).

As far as I know the club haven't commented yet, and US started this thread to discuss who would replace him if/when Knight's image is removed.

Some people have looked at his behaviour and the marker behaviour of mental health problems and diagnosed him using t'internet, suggesting that needs to be address, but as far as I know, none of them are qualified psychiatrists so maybe, maybe not. Nothing official on his mental health status, though.

Okay so normal NSC ranting, would be surprised if the club react the same way as a NSC binfest

It is not really a binfest is it ? All respectful opinions.

Well joining it late, looks like 300 posts over two threads, 10,000 views between me leaving for cricket and returning. All on a previous Albion player that seems to get a lot of NSC's posters goat.

All I am aware of now is (as per usual) he has been OTT/poor taste on Twitter, may have been arrested for his efforts, has problems holding down a job, was a talented footballer and never realised his potential.

Has a banner up for being one of the clubs highest scorers in some barren years, well done him and the others up. Lots of people acting like his memory should be purged from our clubs history because he is a bit of a prat. Binfest territory in my eyes.

Do you not agree his activity was too much ?

I have no idea what he has done, bar someone saying he was tweeting inappropriate pictures, I am amazed that anyone actually follows him to know what he has done. It has been mentioned he has also been arrested. We have players currently in court and again I know nothing about this, if they or he is convicted perhaps the club may want to remove change players histories/records. Until them Leon remains a former player that holds a great scoring record, like him or not.

Thats what he is, so I don't (yet) know if his 'activity' was too much, but for now know as a player his scoring record was enough to earn a banner at the AMEX. I just hope this big reaction does not make the club overreact or make someone vandalise his image.

All I can say is that you do infact avail yourself of the facts. I have supported him more than most but this time he has gone too far and needs professional help immediately imo.

Sums it up for me and those claiming the banner is in some way an embarrassment to the club need to get real. It's a banner, most away fans probably don't give two sh*ts who our 'legends' are let alone what Leon does on twitter

As usual mass daily mail-esque overreaction and witch hunting

Jimmy Langney was one of our best ever players. Went on to play for England. Should be there anyway.
Glen Wilson and Dave Turner also worthy of remembrance

Brett Mendoza :jester:

I would LOVE to see the REMF logo on a place there with the Seagulls legends/ iconic moments with the old Seagulls logo and the REMF on it as a testament to the fabulous work of the fund and the BHAFC/CPFC fans in achieving it and I know it would be very special for the Eaton family for the
£ 120000 raised in their Son's memory. I would love that to happen and would think it most fitting. If only.

Well this sums it up if people are claiming he is medically ill. What does trying to remove his banner do to help anyone. Should the club/ pfa, local services, even dare say NSC be checking he has access to help/ assistance if he needs it.

So that we can make an informed judgement, is anyone able to list who is up there already?

As a West Stand Season ticket holder I walk past them often enough but couldn't list them all!

Upon consideration of the full facts and the appalling sap twitter regardless of whether Knight is mentally ill, which I strongly believe he is, what he has done this time is beyond the pale and I agree with Bozza, TLO nd many others that he should no longer be associated with the club on the legends wall.

Some things are just unforgiveable so I have changed my mind and would now vote yes. I would like to put forward Ian Chapman as he was a BHAFC legend for me, refused to talk to Palace when they were interested and was an honourable man of great integrity, resigning when he felt Dean Wilkins had been badly treated to his own detriment. Having met him a few times , he is also a cracking good and decent bloke.

Any suggestions and I will arrange a poll on 10 or so choices for consideration to the club.

I agree, Ian was at the the club as a player for 10 years, never had a testimonial despite being promised one years ago. Came back to the club and has coached many players over the years and as you say remained loyal to Dean when he had been treated badly. With all these testimonials being handed out by the club to players(which I don't disagree with) I think the very least the club owe Ian is the testimonial match he was promised

Here's a radical idea:-

Why not do a cuppla minutes of research concerning his recent MO & formulate a considered, current, opinion including that behaviour too?
