Adams agreed to be manager of one side before he got the job at Colchester.

West Ham would not release Zamora and he played for them against Southend (and scored).

Virgo was also denied permission to play by Celtic and Cullip by QPR.

Ben Roberts and Matt Le Tissier both pulled out through injury. Not sure what happened to Neville Southall.

I thought the line up for the legends match was superb, and great to see Wardy on the score sheet.
