Aswad Thomas played for Lewes last season. Would hope we could do better than that?

How about our youth prospects Cook or Ide? Can they play full back and if so do they show promise? hope we give them a chance

Aswad Thomas has joined Woking. How about Paul Watson as a non contract
player whilst McNulty is out ?

I thought Borrowdale did good for us last season, I know loans are to be frowned upon after last year but surely he's worth a 6 month loan till the January transfer window?

Borrowdale may well at last have a chance at Q.P.R they have had a change of manager during the summer and he has started the last couple of games for them in pre-season, plus Damien Delaney the first choice left back has been sold. Richards/Granville or Lockwood may be more likely, or Rhoys Wiggins at Palace (dare i say it )

Think we will be hard pushed to get anyone in on a perm deal knowing that McNulty is nearing fitness. Loan till Xmas, maybe a premiership youngster, would fill the gap

How soon is now?
we need a permanent left back signed, we have McNulty and thats great, but what if he gets long term injured again - we end up with Livermore, El Abd or even Whing playing out of position.

I've said it before, i'd go for Richards. He's good cover, and available on a free. He's also good going forward and I think can be an asset on the left hand side of midfield - maybe not as a starter, but its more competition to keep our midfielders on their toes
