Yes, what an embarrassment for the club to be a shocking fourth in the league. What is embarrassing is some of our fans reaction on here.

Excuse me for having an opinion! Must be quite something to know it all the way that you seem to. Hope your head hasn't swollen too much, you may not be able to get out of the door.

Bongs recovery has been worrying me for some time, Our LB problem is, imo, far more of a concern than a striker.

I'd be surprised if there was a suitable LB available. They'd have to fill a number of criteria: be better than Calde (or Chicksen), play for an English club, and be available and willing.

Being better than Calde rules out all League 1 clubs or below, as their reserve LBs aren't going to be good enough.

A Championship rival might have a better reserve, but they're unlikely to loan them out to help us, and, if they're any good, they're probably a regular member of the match day squad.

That leaves a left back from a Premier League club that isn't in his club's 25 man squad, so probably won't have played much, if any, senior football all season.

I'd rather have Calde laying his body on the line for 2-3 games than a disinterested PL discard.

As always, so boring. Nobody has said there are none available. What has been said is that they need to be the right player at the right price. Or do you suggest we try to sign any old left back (maybe judging by the suggestions you made that is what you want).

You are a pretty rude poster, anyone who queries anything about the club gets a patronising post from you. The club HAVE ****ed up with the LB position quite a bit since the ridiculous faffing about and failure to sign Ward last season. We ended up with the infinitely inferior Bennett. This season they got it spot on with Bong. Instead of finding a replacement for him when he got injured we moved Rosenior there. OK so the club couldn't know that he would get injured. We now have a loanee LB who isn't even a LB and his loan is coming to an end.

You being all arsey about people being a bit concerned about this is frankly predictable and boring. Have a break from slagging other posters off.

Not sure if Calderon was that bad as back up left back when he was playing recently.

It was more of a case the whole team was having a bad run of form at the time.

Think this is where we are, and I agree. We'll cope. Not ideal, but I don't think much of our bad run was down to Calde in isolation. The way Murphy played on Friday bodes well for him getting some help too.

What a load of drivel. It's become fashionable to slag off the club on here and it gets boring after a while. If you dare to stand up for the club, you get posts like this.

Maybe I'll just join the rest. Our season is over.
