How can anyone not have heard of one of the finest ales ever brewed?... it's even on the shelves of spAsda. Leffe Brune is definately the daddy. In France you can get 9.3% Leffe a well as a variety of other strengths, what we get in this country is poor by comparison - or at least all I've ever seen for sale is Leffe Blonde or Brune.

I've seen the top four on sale in the UK, not that I've been actively searching for them.

Incidentally, I make a rather more-ish version of zabaglione with Leffe.

Whilst in Holland recently, I discoverd another corker, (beer, not someone else's missus!).
"Gerardhus Wittens Kloosterbier".
If your ever that way, it's gorgeous.

Where have you seen the 2nd/3rd on sale then TLO?

Bruin you can get in Sainsbury's for one (and therefore probably most places).

The others in more specialist beer shops / off licences - don't ask where (oh, sorry you just did); I can't remember.

The Sussex - East Street.
The Rock & Roller - Western Road.
The Cleveland - Cleveland Road.
The ? - Half way up North Rd on the corner on the right (not the Jolly Butchers).
Does anyone know of any others in Brighton or Hove?
