Will they do a Sheff Wed and drop down to Div 2 and struggle to finish above mid-table? I think this is definitely possible. Man City, QPR and several of the smaller teams that have been in the Premiership have found their way down to Div 2 in a fairly short space of time

They need to get a decent manager in as quickly as they can, one who knows how to keep a team in the first division otherwise they could struggle. I can't see them going down again but it could be close.

Sayingthat I hope they don't get a manager in, all thier half decent players leave and that they get relegated on the last day of the season following a thumping 3-0 win by the Albion at Elland Road.

Rubbish. We had a 36 point deduction for appointing Hinshelwood, and we nearly survived.

:D But in truth, that was really only about a 15 point deduction (as we were a mid table side at best) and we DIDN'T survive.

"If"? they delisted from the Stock market last week due to Administrators being appointed. So, if i understand the new rule correctly, they will be starting with -10.

All their best players will be leaving, even Michael 'Worst player in the premiership' Duberry is jumping ship to Wolves. I think they will struggle next year.

They have just announced on Sky that Eddie Gray is no longer Leeds manager with immediate affect. He is staying with Leeds in a consultancy role starting in June.

I've heard Nicky Law is quite good at getting teams into a different division.

Wasn't it Malcom Allison who when he was Crystal Palace manager said (after they'd been relegated from the old 1st) "We won't be in this division long". He was absolutely correct - they were relegated into Div 3 next season!

I agree with the general consensus (except Marshy who's gone against the grain), it'll be an achievment if Leeds can stay in the First. Look at Barnsley, Sheff Wed and Bradford City (and nearly Derby).

Given that they have already tried Peter Reid and Howard Wilkinson I guess Nicky Law is the next best option

A consultancy a role? Oh, yeah - I see how that works. Eddie Gray makes a recommendation and the new Leeds manager makes a mental note not to go near him with a f***ing bargepole.

Eddie Gray was still one of the best players I have ever seen ... his ball control was probably only equalled by George Best ... shame he turned out to be a crap manager
