just got back - probabaly my best footballing day of the season thus far

a packed terrace on which it was IMPOSSIBLE to move, a really good atmosphere and the underdog getting the win. leeds BATTERED cheltenham, beckford missed chance after chance, before wise chucked on flo and de vries to go for the win. backfired BIG time, as the leeds keeper headed the ball out of his box, only to see gillespie drop it back other his head with a beautifully weighted lob

no doubt wise will blame the offside goal for coasting his side the match, but fair play to cheltenham - kept battling the whole time and never gave up, and in the end got there reward

I was in the bath listening to Radio 5 Live towards the end of the game and they were reporting the score as 1-0 nil to Leeds.

They went back to the ground for the Cheltenham "equaliser" only for the reporter to apologise for his earlier report, because he didn't realise the goal had actually been disallowed.

November form:-

Leeds United
P7 W2 D1 L4

Brighton & Hove Albion
P7 W3 D4 L0

Not really a fair comparison, of course. Leeds have had difficult games against the likes of Carlisle, Cheltenham and Hereford. We've had easy games against opponents no better than, er, Carlisle and Cheltenham.

Dunno about that, was only his third league goal of the season.

hes only just got back into the team, been out since september. by far and away cheltenhams best player, and will be the key to them staying up this year

Thought Cheltenham were half decent in the games against us and they were 2-0 up against Southend away last week, also with Leeds losing to Hereford and getting beat in the paint pot, on current form was this such a shock

I was walking round town listening to Leeds go ahead on 5 Live :nono: and then the Cheltnam equaliser.

It was quality at the end of the game when they went back to the reporter for his end of game report on the "draw" only for him to have to admit his mistake.
Can you imagine the turmoil of the average Leeds fan listening to 5 Live  ?
One minute your losing the lead
Next minute you're losing the game
Top quality :D

Him and Crawley's very own Guy Madjo!

looked pretty handy when he came on - nearly knocked the keeper out of his boots, which may have had a pretty big part to play in him being shaken up and leading to the cheltenham winner

they have been pretty decent defencesively for the most of this season, so if those two can get the goals then they will hopefully be able to survive
