Leeds had a great start to the season, but they choked, as they have frequently done.
They appear to be losing some key players at the end of the season.
Bates said when appointing Grayson that they had to get out of the division because they can't afford to stay down. Tat was last year. Things could go bad for the next year if they stay down.
We pushed them to the limit and they only got points against us at elland road this season because of our tendency to screw up in the last few minutes which has reduced in the last few games aided by a one man deficit thanks to Virgo's rashness).
We have beat them.

Why are people so scared of playing next year with Leeds in the division?

Agreed, personally I think a lot of their better players will want out if they don't go up this season and I wouldn't bet against some of their fans voting with their feet as well. Beckford will go for nothing.

He can't only give you 1500. You get 10% of capacity, if you want it, which is near enough 4,000. Whether Swindon would sell more than 1500 is another matter entirely.

Sadly this is the exact reason why Leeds must fail, again. Ken Bates seems to ignore what he is required to do, I heard he will not give away teams 10% of the gate, regardless of the rules, he is a ****. Apparently he reckons it makes sure that the away supporters and don't give an advantage to the visiting team (plus he gives them the shitty stand in the corner). I imagine that if Swindon (or anyone) sells all the [1500] tickets and they ask for more he'll "release" more begrudgingly. The man (IMO) should not be in football, but then again, is he?

In fairness, it's a difficult league this year. Leeds probably need to wait until the big clubs have all cleared out of this years league and go for promotion next year when they stand more of a chance because of the aforementioned.

This.

We have sold out our allocation for leeds every season, they have never given us more.

Dont be bothered by leeds, the direction you and southampton are going you are my choices for automatic next year im just hoping we get out this year as its our best chance, can see alot of our squad moving up a level next season wether its with us or not.

There is something about the arrogance of the Leeds fans that particularly makes you want them to fail. You always get that 'we're so much better than everyone else' attitude whenever you hear them on the phone-ins or online forums.

Do us all a favour, Swindon - beat them to it.

On one hand I want Leeds to fail but on the other I want them out of our league next year so it make sit easier for us. Despite beating us twice I do not see Swindon as a threat for next season and do not feel that they have any players who are good enough to be sort after by bigger clubs it would be a case of moving sideways in this division.

Next season it will be between us and Southampton for automatic with possiobly Scunthorpe if they can keep Gary Hooper and Peterborough with their strike force who will make the running.

My Derby colleagues at work told me when they played Leeds last they got behind the goal as well as that shitty corner they hem us in. Probably because those two have got history and Derby have a big following.

Don't forget MK, surely they'll eventually win promotion.

it would be funny but i think on balance i'd rather they got out of the way for our promotion push next season.

I had Norwich and Milwall going up automatically

Play-offs= Leeds, Swindon, Charlton, Colchester

Leeds missing out on automatic promotion by goal difference

And the four to go down was the most surprising one

It gave me: Hartlepool, Gilligham, Wycombe and Stockport

Brighton achieved 10th place with 64 points

$
Norwich (97 points)
Leeds (91 Points)

Oldham, Southend, Wycombe and Stockport all to go down.

Brighton v Southampton is there on mine, Thursday don't forget.

On my predictor i had Norwich and Leeds Automatic with Milwall 2 points behind Leeds in 3rd, and in play offs with them Swindon Hudders and Charlton

Albion 12th on 59 ponits, with Stockport, Southend, Wycombe and Exeter to go down

We've had the full stand in the past (4 or 5 yeas ago), but recently we've been reduced and dumped into the corner by the **** Bates, like all other visiting teams fans. Bear in mind the last time Derby will have played them in the league it would have been the Championship, possibly before Bates started on his vendeta against away fans. Also, you might well find that Derby demanded the full amount of tickets, knowing they would sell them all.
