I see they are about to sign Warren Feeney, Am I the only one that thinks this is an average signing?

Looking at he squad they have up there and IF they lose Beckford it is very average. I really dont think they will challenege.

I don't agree, I think Feeney would be a good signing for any League 1 side.

People are again getting carried away with how we're going to do next year...If we thought last year was tough, then next year is going to be even tougher.

Charlton, Norwich & (if they get taken over by the time the new season starts) Southampton will all be looking to bounce straight back.

In addition, I think that there are around 10 other clubs who would be mounting a realistic challenge this year...

Huddersfield, Leeds, Colchester, Bristol Rovers (if they can keep hold of Lambert), Millwall, Carlisle, MK Dons, Southend, Oldham & Tranmere will all think they've got a good shout. That said, I do think that MK Dons will find next season alot tougher than last year and I think that Carlisle will be the surprise package as like us last season, they failed to live upto expectations from the season before.

I'm not yet convinced that we've got a team capable of really competiting with those teams. However, I reckon we're only a proven striker and an established centre midfielder away from it.

I think we self-destructed before last season started, and then never got going, for me the problem wasn't that it was a tough division, it's that we never got ourselves sorted and slipped up in ways we never should have because of our own errors.

He is a decent signing in League 1 but not of the quality of Beckford and Becchio. Not what Leeds fans will expect but that doesn't mean he won't do a job for them.

Feeney is a good signing at this level, Scored a few goals in the SPL last season which had Rangers alert of his services!

Take out the likes of Bechio , Delph and Beckford and Leeds would be a mid table club.
