Eh? how can they not be members of the FA for Gods sake?

How can the FA punish them, investigate them, discipline them or indeed assist them if they are not members?

How can they still play in FA competitions if they are outside the rules???

Oh, how the mighty have fallen. At least at our lowest ebb we have never got into the mess they are in at present.

I do wonder how their finances are, and if they can finish the season. I wonder if the finances are in a far worse state than they have discolsed.

Didn't stop them the last time. Why worry about things like not having the money? It is a credit rich world.

That's the thing I can't understand they were very close to bankruptcy less than a couple of months ago. now they are buying players most teams in this league wouldn't have any chance with, and haven't really cleared there squad by that much. All seems very fishy to me.

Very basically.........they have little or no debt now because of Administration and they have 24000 paying customers walking through the turnstlies each game.....not to mention the merchandise sales etc etc...

lazy journalism at best, how unlike you all to believe the sun though ;-)

we have not been kicked out, the share has not been transfered since we went into admin. the fa are quite satisfied with the goings on and as soon as bates pays the rest of the monies owed (i am yet to receive a penny) the member status is returned.

it has no bearing on the club at all, we are allowed to play our games and even play in the FA Cup.

Once again the FA messed it up they should have ben stopped from playing until they had paid the money due.

Would have at least given us more of a chance of getting promoted.

What I don't get is that I thought that teams in the bottom two divisions weren't full members anyway. I seem to recall that when the Euro ban was on, the competition they put on for (old) div 1 and div 2 teams was called the Full Members Cup as it was top two divisions only. Did it change when the Prem came along? Is it now all three League Divisions, just the top two or what?
