Leeds United - Inactive transfer business

All this mention of the stadium has reminded me of something: what have they done to the upper tier of the big stand? I only noticed last season that there were seemingly no people or even seats there... Have they just closed it down? Seems a strange decision if they really are trying to get back in the top flight.

Next season, the away fans are being put up there (so Ken Bates can get away with charging a premium on the tickets), whilst the corner is being given to the home fans.

Lot of disharmony up here - the sale of Kaspar isn't popular at all, and thoughts are that Snodgrass and Becchio will be gone soon as well. Knowing Grayson, he'll bulk the squad up with loanees.

Bates shut the top tier basically to keep the rates and running costs down. The local paper up here is not full of the transfer targets they were 12 months ago and as has been said the only rumours are of old Leeds players returning on free transfers. Probably not bad enough to be in the bottom 3 but I would be very surprised if they were good enough for top 6. Bates went for it last season, failed and is paying for it this season

He's spent all their money ruining there stadium, ive heard that tension between bates and the fans is at a low, other clubs are sniffing around bechio however they are one of the only clubs that sustain crowds at any level, since been up here I have realised that if people support Leeds united that's it, theres no watching Chelsea or tottenham occasionally. Or buying a season ticket for a club you have never seen play just because it's fashionable.

It's a city with one club so in reality should get good crowds IMO
