Is it just me or has anyone else noticed that Leeds have been very, very quiet on the transfer front so far. No speculation in the papers from what I've seen. Are they happy enough with their squad, or simply as we know plain skint ?? They normally deal with 2/3 players pre-season as a guesstimate.

I was wondering whether they are skint when they accepted the bid for the keeper.

Selling before buying, doesn't sound all that good for a club you'd expect to be flashing the cash right up until the moment they go bust again ...

I don't really pay attention to, or care, what Dirty Leeds do as a rule.

they are the leeds united. they dont need to flash the cash - simply tell a player they want to sign him, and because of the size of the champions of europe they get him

My mistake. You're absolutely right. The "Champions of Europe" will be wading through the sackloads of applications from players begging to play for them. Some, apparently, are offering to pay Leeds for the privaledge.

I dont think they have the money of even recent season. I get the feeling Grayson will have to wheel and deal, sell to buy etc..

I was working with a Leeds season holder a couple of weeks ago and he told me that Leeds were potless and would only be signing players on frees. Whether that's quite true is hard to say but yes they have been pretty quiet.

Do you mean to say you haven't got some inside knowledge which will prove to be wildly inaccurate??

Blimey!

He's spent all their money ruining there stadium, ive heard that tension between bates and the fans is at a low, other clubs are sniffing around bechio however they are one of the only clubs that sustain crowds at any level, since been up here I have realised that if people support Leeds united that's it, theres no watching Chelsea or tottenham occasionally. Or buying a season ticket for a club you have never seen play just because it's fashionable.

How has he ruined their (already shit) stadium?

My friends in Leeds call it "the Graveyard".

Taken 10000 seats out to install shit looking corporate boxes, the last three home games they could have got 40000 bit couldn't it looks f***ing shit

All this mention of the stadium has reminded me of something: what have they done to the upper tier of the big stand? I only noticed last season that there were seemingly no people or even seats there... Have they just closed it down? Seems a strange decision if they really are trying to get back in the top flight.
