This time for tapping up Simon Grayson.

Leeds refused permission to speak to him, but still did.

He then resigned from Blackpool, but the resignation wasn't accepted and they are now taking legal action.

Wonder what their punishment might be?

Knowing how the FA loves to do bend over backwards and do anything they can to aid Leeds i guess they will punishment them by promoting them straight into the Premiership :jester:

Its no surprise that Leeds have once again circumnavigated the rules to get what they want - in this case another clubs manager. Leeds, as a football club, operate under a well established culture of thievery to further their own means.

Its just what they do. Its the norm.

Well I hate Ken Bates and am none too keen on their fans on here.

Two reasons to hope they remain a third division club for the forseeable future.

Loads of clubs do this, and loads of professional football managers resign after being tapped up by richer clubs offering more money(even if that money belongs to the St Johns Ambulance and Freds Hamburger Stall plc).It has happened to us,I believe.

As for punishment, that will be the turn around time which could keep Leeds in this division for at least another season,or they could have fifteen points deducted. At the very least their supporters should be made to watch Yorkshires cricket team.

hopefully when they are in this division for another year people will stop caring about them. They will sell their ground and they will be a nobody club.

was already sold a few years ago, we are about to buy it back and build some fancy new shite around it.

I thought the main objection from Blackpool was that it was all done behind their backs. They will be entitled to some compensation, but the illegality was there was no official approach to Blackpool or at least an official approach was refused.

I would expect some sort of fine for this but nothing more.

If we are looking for clubs happy to con businesses, the team currently at the top of our division shouldn't be forgotten...
