Leeds Tickets

We were discussing this on the train tonight.

Surely the sensible thing would be to give Leeds the family Stand and the stand behind the goal next to the family stand( charge them £40 a ticket!).....move the kiddies to the new away stand ( get them to blow those effing horns to piss Mr Catt off no end) and the kiddies would be well out of the way of the friendly lovable leeds away following!

You then hold the away fans in the stands until the ground has cleared and everyone is happy.

Of course it wont happen and there is bound to be fisticuffs, but hey...we know what we are doing ....right?

over 5,000 applications now for this fixture from us.

you are one of not many clubs that will sell tickets to people [leeds fans] not already in your system.

>>>Am I correct in thinking that at Withdean a contingent of Leeds fans who were in the South Stand had tickets that were allocated as complimentaries (for the Leeds board and players) ?
they come in the away end with us these days.

Does anybody else remember when the Chicken Run was allocated to the Palace fans (and Arsenal a few years later?) as the capacity in the NorthEast Terrace wasn't enough ? If the club wanted to guarantee a sell out they should move the kids and family standers to the away end for this match.

Good - at least we'll sell the game out.

Personally I think DTGs idea is a good one - although I'd go one further and give them the two stands in question AND the away end. Any family stand ticket holders can move to the South stand for this one, better view so they can't complain.

Keep em in afterwards for long enough and they'll be no trouble.

Also make sure the Sportsman ask to see Tickets before lettingany fans in the pub. Sorry no away fans that day.I know that's tarring them all with the same brush but might be wise.

I'm sure that NSC can advise Paddy and Starry where the best (in fact much better) alternatives are. :drink:

Eh? Why don't you lot in the South Stand make room for them? Just because the kiddies make a damn sight more noise and moan a damn sight less than the South Stand.

Also, your logic is flawed. There'll more likely be fisticuffs before the game as Leeds and Brighton fans mingle to get into the ground.

If going to the club shop was the only way og getting a ticket that is exactly what I'd do, if i didn't live locally i'd come down a bit earlier on the day of the game. Not ideal but watching the Albion vs Leeds would be worth a little inconvenience imo. I could of course not go and post on NSC how unfair it all was during the game.

If I worked in the club shop I'd also refuse to sell a ticket to anyone who had a Northern accent, just to be difficult and give fans something else to complain about:lol:

Quite right, if the club is able to sell out the game at full price then I guess that is good for the club. If the tickets don't sell so quickly, then perhaps they'll allow the students to buy what's left at reduced rates.

As for family tickets etc, what is the problem with putting an envelope in the post? You'll still get tickets.

This club tries extremely hard, with limited resources and finances, to provide a service to the fans, to provide league football in Sussex. Online tickets were unheard of a couple of years ago, pretty much all tickets had to be bought by post, or sometimes in person. It's just the way it is, get over it. If you're a student, get an envelope, write down what you want, and post it.

Why do some people constantly complain about anything the club does that doesn't suit them? Can you not understand at all what the people running the club go through every week. Have you got a standing order from your bank account for thousands of pounds a week going to the clubs bank account? No. You are just asked to buy an envelope and post it to get a ticket for a mere £17, or for family tickets a quid for your kids or whatever it is.

I don't see many of you lining up outside the ground before each game and thanking the directors as they arrive for subsidising your tickets to watch your football team.

Come on people, stop being devisive about the club we love.

Comon you Super Seagulls!

Changing the subject ever so slightly....Have I missed something? The official site (herel) says the game kicks off at 7:45pm?? Is it an evening kick off or is that just an error on the site?

It's ok as Ned has a season ticket.
Last time we played Leeds we walked to the station with a Leeds fan who lives in the next road to us. Leeds fan with a southern accent (his Dad was from Leeds) and Brighton fan with a Yorkshire accent!!
