So this is probably the only game this season that we have any chance of selling out and the club will not allow any tickets to be sold by phone!

You can only buy them in person, by fax or online.

I can't see the point in this, if it's an attempt to stop Leeds fans buying in the home areas it won't work because they can just book online instead.

Anyone got any ideas of the reasoning behind this?

If they don't sell out they've only got themselves to blame.

Fix the online system then fine, but you can only buy Adult/Senior/Child tickets, no Family stand OR student tickets.

The Albion could have easily fixed the "non-student ticket" fiasco online months ago but it seems they can't be arsed to fix it. Stupid really because the number of extra tickets they could have sold online, but instead sold none (because of the frustration of waiting on the phone sometimes) they would have been able to fix this problem, probably actually making a profit on it (compared to it not having being fixed).....if that makes sense.
If a Leeds fan really wanted to buy a home ticket they could. Just get a mate living ANYWHERE but Yorkshire to buy them, then get him to send it on. Stopping you buying tickets on the phone isn't going to stop them, it's just plain ridiculous.

I dont understand why there's the problem - you could buy student tickets last season absolutely fine!

Most irritating!

Didnt they sack most of the ticket office staff?

They had ticket office staff in the first place? Could have fooled me, was waiting for an hour one time, and all because their Online ticket system is :tosser:

When we went to Elland Road last time , we got on the train at Donny and there was a equal number of Leeds and Albion fans on board. They have a large following in London and the South so it pointless imposing restrictions which are supposed to stop them getting tickets. Even if the club sold it as a 3 match package you are still going to have Leeds fans dotted around the ground. Am I correct in thinking that at Withdean a contingent of Leeds fans who were in the South Stand had tickets that were allocated as complimentaries (for the Leeds board and players) ?
