Fans attending are a huge overhead. Because you need a stadium to house them. CGI them into a green screen surrounded pitch is far cheaper and provides far more money and profitability, with exciting opportunities for fans to purchase a pixel showing them in attendance, enabling fans from all over the world to attend without the carbon tax. That is fairer too. Why should people who live in close proximity be the only ones that can attend? This is the future. Not some outdated concept with real people walking up with their real service costs. Virtual attendance and STHs is the next step to making greater profits. How else will clubs be able to afford average £1m per match per player in the next 10-15 years.

There’s now about 360 left - about 300 shifted in last 24 hours - nearly all in the SE or SW corners. . Might be close to sell out. Doubt tickets exchange will open.

For those dreaming of a 40,000 + stadium extension, can I ask if you’ve ever been to West Ham? If there’s an advertisement for having a 30,000 stadium that’s it

They need a 60k stadium at 3pm & a 10k stadium at 4:30pm.

I still speak to quite a few people who won't even try to get tickets as " every game is a sell out" - maybe the club need to do a bit more to get the word out that there are tickets on general sale for most games and its worth having a look.

Often think the wording could be slightly different as announcing it’s a sell out makes the causal fan assume there’s no tickets left but actually means exchange tickets have become available to buy.
