Hate to tell you all this, but this has happened with a Leeds match for me. I planned a weekend away in Leeds with a Pompey supporter (yes, yes, I know...but whichever team lost was very likely to get relegated, so I was in a win-win situation) during Leeds' premiership relegation season, and well after everybody had bought their match tickets, booked their train tickets, B&Bs and so on, they changed it to a Sunday morning. So, all the south coast dwellers had to leave at about 2 in the morning, everybody planning to go by train on the Saturday had to either shell out for a B&B and get the return portions on their train ticket changed (at great expense), or give up their tickets. We had to change our plans (not our B&B, though, as we were already planning to stay on the Saturday night), for which we were charged £10 each by bastard GNER. I can assure you, there was no offer of compensation for any of the fans who lost out either financially or by not being able to go at all. It wasn't a cancellation, you see, only a rearrangement, and under the rules no apology or compensation was required.

leeds did not want that game changed , west yorkshire police wet their pants after we'd had a bit of a tear up earlier that season down fratton road after portsmouth turned us over 6-1.

there is never going to be the offer of compensation and anyone who expects it is fooling themselves, be it for this game or otherwise. i don't know about brighton home tickets but it says on ours under the t and c's subject to change, check local press, no refunds unless cancelled, etc.
it is not going to be changed - at least not under bates orders.
3.Tickets cannot be refunded or exchanged, this applies to all purchases.
4. It is the responsibility of the supporter to check for any fixture changes or amendments.

Saturday October 11th

Leeds Utd v Brighton 15.00
England v Kazakhstan 17:15

Somebody in our party has taken the liberty of booking us into a Travelodge for the night, so it would appear that following the Albions glorious and inevitable victory at the cheating scum who reside at Elland Road, we will then have an evening of drunken DEBAUCHERY ahead of us, cheering on the Three Lions as they disembowel Borats finest at Wembley. Followed by christ knows what in Leeds city centre. Probably a beating.

Anyone ELSE making a weekend of it ? Be almost rude not to, I'd have thought.

Absolutely. Bring it on :)
