Leeds did rest some of their regular first teamers for this game to enable them to be fresh for yet another "big game" this Saturday.

We made eight changes to our first team. I heard Gary Mac on the radio Leeds bigging the game up but the little sarcasm comments told the real truth. Which I think is a shame for the people who turn up, but hey ho. A Paint Trophy or eight fresh pairs of legs for real three pointer games?

Thought they had to field at least 6 regular first team players but whats the problem this is Leeds and rules do not apply to them.

Do the 6 first team regulars have to be amongst the starting line up plus the subs ?

Seriously, I think the rule is something like the majority of the eleven players who have featured most regularly over the season or something. I think with the squad we have and the suspensions/injuries/changes Gary Mac has made the 'reserve' team probably come close to hitting the same number of games as the first choice, at least at this stage of the season when we're only seven or so games down.

another SUPERB performance from the millers

the side and feeling around the club is beginning to bear a striking resemblance to the first few years of ronnie moores reign - good football, a relatively young team with a few experienced heads, and a young manager who is a former striking hero that should and probably will go onto better things

hopefully the council will sort out the stadium so there still is a rotherham united in 5 years time, as for the first time in 4 years things are starting to look up
