So they are poor but can afford to go to Germany?

? What? I was at the game and I do not agree with anything Wise says in this report. Union were technically better and quicker in mind than Leeds. Leeds looked shabby and unimaginative. Leeds were also totally second best in midfield....mainly due to Leeds playing a flat pair in midfield whilst Union had a guy playing deeper. I thought it odd that this was never addressed during the 90 mins when it was obvious that it was an issue from kick off.
Union had a number of other chances as well. Leeds had a couple but Union won fair and square.
Next Wise will be saying Ken Bates is an honest person.
bloody northern monkeys are on benefits aren't they. Bet they got a crisis loan to pay for that little one.
hooliesWas there any bother before/after the game? ... My brother and lots others have fights and everything booked.
We get paid to go to Germany. Well, the money has gone into the LU07 account so Bates at least got paid for us to go.
At least those poor souls who are owed money (Yorkshire Ambulance etc.) can take find some solace in the fact that Leeds have been forced to tour Germany instead of somewhere more exotic like the Far East or the US, like so many of the other massive clubs.
They should be touring Yorkshire and playing teams like Shipley Working Mens club 2nd 11
Was there any bother before/after the game? Dynamo Dresden have now cancelled our fixture with them at the weekend on the advice of the police because of all the English hooligans. Paddy is out there but I can't get hold o fhim. My brother and lots others have flights and everything booked.
It's not turning out to be a great tour, though ...
DRESDEN UPDATE
Dynamo Dresden v Leeds United July 21 2007 - CANCELLED
An update from the club...
We arrived in Dresden on Thursday afternoon and, much to our disappointment, were informed upon arrival that the game would not be taking place on the advice of the police.
We have requested a full explanation from the Dresden police as to why the decision was taken at such short notice, but are still awaiting an official statement from them.
We can confirm that there was no prior communication between the local police and either ourselves or the West Yorkshire Police about this fixture, and we were only informed of the decision to cancel 48 hours before the game was due to take place.
We would like to apologise once again to all our supporters who have either travelled or intended to travel to Dresden for Saturday's game.
In the meantime, we are looking at alternative arrangements for the weekend and will keep supporters updated via the website.
