There is only one model and that is the leeds model. They are just taking an extended leave of absence until they are ready to dominate Europe again.

They will need to keep key managers longer than Donald Trump for a start!

Been a good day for Leeds news. Their chairman saying they need to be more like us and some of their knuckle-draggers getting up in arms that the club has endorsed a new LGBT group. Brilliant.

Let's hope they suffer a hat trick and Lose Woods!! Mind you I would snap anyone's hand off if they offered £20m for him...RIDICULARSE!

Does he even know what the ''Brighton Model'' is ?

All he knows is that Brighton got promoted. The Brighton model was the foreign Manager approach. That didn't work so they went for a British Manager who had success previously in the Championship.

Leeds on the other hand have allowed a British Manager to move on and went for the foreign Manager who knows nothing about the Championship. His actions seem to contradict his vocabulary. Unless he of course really does want to follow Brighton and go for 4 failed attempts to get out of the Championship and the revert back to the British Manager and build the infrastructure and Academy and facilities first.

You have a fair point but as stated in interview, Gary Monk was asked to stay but he declined and moved on to Boro. Chairman went on to say that there wasn't a British manager that applied for job with enough quality to move the club forward!

You don't know what Leeds offered him. If it was a derisory offer, that's no offer at all.

Northern Hemisphere.
The Brighton model is all about selling your football ground for peanuts and then spending the next 14 years trying to survive all whilst being homeless.

I'd strongly recommend any club to give it a try. It might seem like a bad idea at first, but by the end, you'll be much better off.

Good luck Leeds!
